Day 3.

We went to the forbidden city, and yet again it was *cold*!

Somebody apparently thought the toilet deserved 5 stars...

Then we went to go see some pandas!

Oh ya, the fashion was AMAZING.

Then for dinner, we went to this restaurant that was based around duck. It was very INTERESTING.

This was the menu.

And this was the mushroom soup. It was actually good! It tasted a bit like half and half though.

Then we went back to the hotel to go to bed. Part of the group walked around outside and this is what they saw:

 Grose right?!

Day 2

YES. I am a horrible blogger! I can't stand having to blog on particularly things :/ WELLL! Here is (late) day 2.... :)

Began the day with a wonderful meal in the hotel (the hotel in Beijing was the best, all of the others had really hard beds).
The food was amazing! It was very european. See that fruit thing with the black seeds?  It's dragon fruit and it was awesome! I think it could very possibly be related to kiwi...
My second plate of food... (green tea muffin, some bread thing, bacon, tomato, dumpling)

Grandma had a chinese pancake- it was interesting, but bisquick beats it by a million points.

They had macaroons EVERYWHERE for decor! It was SO COOL! And they were all awesomely colored.
This is what the whole buffet looked like.

Abby, Lexi, Evan, and Ana in our tourbus getting ready to hit the great wall of china.

The vendors along side the road trying to sell us stuff.

And tada! It was really cold and windy...

but we had fun anyways!

(After the great wall, we went to these little bike rides, those were really cool, we got to see the culture better.)

Day 1.

ok, so! I am back from China. It was amazing, but I was getting homesick so I'm glad that I am home :)

DAY 1
I woke up at 4:30 am and by 5:15 mom and I were headed to the airport. My flight took off at 8:00 and it was headed to Seattle where I would meet my cousin Lexi.

Lexi and her mom, my aunt Brenda, picked me up and since we had like 7 hours in Seattle before our flight to China left, we took the subway to Pioneer Square. We were going to go to the Pike Place Market.

The Pike Place Market had everything from little stores containing art to bakeries. For lunch we ate beef samosas and....

homemade donuts :)

We saw handmade bouquets that were just beautiful!

We also saw the very first Starbucks. It was very busy. We then headed back to the airport where we meet 7 more relatives, including...

my some how related cousins, Abby (next to me), Ana, and Even.

12 hours later, our crew arrived at the Beijing airport and the journey began. Since it was 9:00 pm in Beijing, we headed to our hotel (the best one of the whole trip!) and went to bed.
